The war in Ukraine has had a profound impact on resource prices and energy costs. And this is clearly reflected in our balance sheets, of course. But we still have some positive news and outlooks:<\/p>\n<p>expansion of our plant in Schkopau is scheduled for completion in early 2023. We will then be able to draw on even more production capacity, which we will use primarily to manufacture recycled polystyrene (r-PS). Recycled polystyrene (r-PS) is taking on an increasingly important role in the production of food packaging. Given that polystyrene is used largely in the manufacture of packaging in Europe, recycled products are playing an increasingly important role.
