Fernholz at the 2024 European Thermoforming Conference in Amsterdam
Even small to medium-sized enterprises need an international approach in a globalized world. The reason for this is that many laws – especially those that address packaging and recycling quotas – are created not just for the domestic market in Germany, but are increasingly passed in Brussels. Smaller companies therefore require international networks in order to remain competitive.
Acting as part of a co-promotion, Fernholz is showcasing its talents as a partner to the international companies Polychim (France) and Milliken (USA) at the European Thermoforming Conference 2024 from 10–12 April in Amsterdam. Drawing on a special raw material from Polychim and special additives from Milliken, Fernholz is producing a highly transparent PP film named NX®UltraClear® PP Packaging of the highest quality especially for this conference. One of the objectives is to demonstrate to delegates from the business and political communities how visual attractiveness, functionality and maximum recyclability can be combined in PP for optimized use in the industrial sector.
Over 300 executives and managers from the European thermoforming industry are expected in Amsterdam this April. Michael Roth, Managing Director at Fernholz and Board Member of the European Thermoforming Conference, is looking forward to the event and is also hoping for increased participation from medium-sized partners to strengthen international connections.
