Expansion of the management team at Fernholz

W. u. H. Fernholz GmbH & Co. KG expanded its management team from one to two managing directors on 1 April 2022. Michael Roth, who has been with the company since 2016, will become the second Managing Director alongside the previous sole Managing Director Uwe Fernholz.

“The positive organizational adjustments are our response to the steady growth trajectory at Fernholz and the current plans to enlarge the plant in Schkopau”, explains Uwe Fernholz, spokesperson for the Fernholz management. “In Michael Roth, we have managed to recruit an expert who has been familiar with our business for many years to fill the position of Managing Director. Fernholz recently expanded its product strategy in response to the increased market demand for recyclable and resource-efficient plastic packaging and films. This will also involve enlarging the film plant in Schkopau, which already numbers among the most modern of its kind. Completion is earmarked for 2023. Michael Roth is a seasoned veteran of the mechanical engineering industry and brings significant experience to the table, especially in the area of thermoforming sheet extrusion. This expertise is essential to the development and production of recyclable and resource-efficient plastic packaging. “I am delighted that the Fernholz family trusts me to manage this demanding position.
