Desto®-Cup has been a registered trademark of Fernholz in the Federal Republic of Germany since 20 June 2022. Our Desto®-Cup has established a strong market presence since then, with more than 12.5 million units sold in 2022 – and counting.

The resource-efficient Desto Cup techno-logy is now firmly established. Trade journals have already published detailed reports on Fernholz’s new decorative system, and market demand is rising as well.

Over time, we will double capacity at the Schkopau site and invest in new systems. After completing preparations in 2020 and 2021, we will push ahead with construction in 2022 and also install the first new systems and machinery.

We used the Fachpack in 2019 to launch Sealid as an innovative alternative to standard composite tub lids made of PP-aluminium-PET.  

The COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown in March of 2020 and the associated introduction of mandatory face-mask regulations generated huge demand for masks and visors.

As early as 2018, the large retail chains announced that the volume of packaging used on store brands must be reduced significantly by 2025. But this cannot be resolved simply by switching from plastic to alternative packaging...
